3 years ago, David Duke was an alcoholic. Unemployed and kicked out on the streets, he had hit rock bottom. Directionless and alone he found out about the \'Homeless World Cup\' (HWC) and found something tangible to grab on to in his life. He trained hard to be a member of the team and the discipline and routine that training for football provides helped him piece his life together. He played for Scotland at the HWC and the next year he became assistant coach of the Scotland team. Last summer he took full managerial control of the team and successfully led them to victory at the HWC. He has recently moved into his own home and is helping other addicts and homeless people to turn their life around as he has managed to do. David takes us to the places where he resided when homeless on the streets of Glasgow. His mentor, the Rangers football coach Ally Dawson speaks of his transition and the emotional journey that David undertook. Mel Young, the founder of the Homeless World Cup will also give some added colour to the story.
