This ten part apocalyptic BBC children\'s serial predated it\'s adult cousin \"Survivors\" by four months. Based on a trilogy of books by Peter Dickinson, it was a gripping story of a world overtaken by a strange power which makes people destroy mechanical and technological things and reverts Britain back to a less civilised existence. This story has largely been forgotten but hear are some of it\'s highlights. It\'s high time the BBC made an up to date remake of this and put this classic in it\'s entirety on DVD.
